Multi-Construction of Female Gender:Analysis of Mosuo People Based on Female Gender Construction

  • Gender concept is an organic part of the whole culture, which is closely linked with the traditional, custom, language, religion and other cultural matters. It is the result of social and cultural construction. Multi-construction of female gender of the Mosuo people provides a unique, rare case for us to study the construction of female gender. This paper is to understand and grasp the female gender construction in the whole cultural context from the perspective of spatial classification, language foundation, kinship metaphor, religious effect and multiple dimensions, trying to provide a unique national history of the world's women's gender construction, and to provide a unique case of common sense that is a unique case of cross cultural gender research and comparison.
