The New Direction of the Mass Media in Social Integration:The Kant's Philosophy of Religion

For a long term, the mass media has played an important role in social integration.In terms of its function, it strengthens the relationship between interpersonal and social organization and promotes the frequent exchanges between the groups through the transmission of information, eventually to promote the integration of the whole society. However, from a deeper level or the essence of the effect, it often backfires. Therefore,to let the mass media realize meaningful social integration during the operation, we need to find the relatively constant value standards to be obeyed in its present operation. Kant's philosophy of religion can provides us with the certain enlightenment.
