Study on the Current Situation of the Development and Countermeasures for Sustainable Development of Apple Industry in Zhaotong

Through analyzing the status of Zhaotong apple in the domestic apple industry and Zhaotong agriculture industry, the author points out the difficulties and problems existing in the Zhaotong apple industry development, based on that it proposes countermeasures and suggestions: the first, further optimize the breed structure; the second, accelerate the construction of breeding base; the third, strengthen the construction of science and technology support system; the forth, transform the system of industry support; the fifth, strengthen the apple brand building; the last, create the international market in southeast Asia. This study has a positive effect on the development of apple industry through emboldening Zhaotong advantage.
