Development Status Quo and Problem Analysis of Vocational Education in Yunnan Rural Areas

  • Vocational education in rural areas plays an very important role during the reform and development in rural areas, especially in cultivating new-type professional farmers. Questionnaire survey and interview are taken as the research methods. Based on the understanding and analysis of the status quo and the problems existed in vocational education in Yunnan rural areas, the suggestions for speeding up the development of vocational education development in Yunnan rural areas are proposed from the following aspects: increasing the propaganda to vocational education in rural areas, raising the enthusiasm of the farmers to receive rural vocational education, improving the contents, forms and the quality of vocational education in rural areas, adding funds to vocational education in rural areas, and perfecting the rural vocational education system.
