Innovating Mode of Talents Training and Building Brand of Agronomy Specialty: A Case Study on Agronomy Specialty of Yunnan Agricultural University

In the present paper, as a case study on agronomy specialty of College of Agronomy and Biotechnology, Yunnan Agricultural University, it has been reported that the exploration and practice for targeting orientation of talents training, innovating mode of talents training, organization of excellent teaching group, optimizing process of talents training have been made by Yunnan Agricultural University to adapt the development of agriculture characteristics of Yunnan plateau in context of the social demand for talents. These efforts are to achieve the objective of talents training of agronomy specialty, to advance the teaching quality, to heavily build agronomy brand specialty with local, professional, and self characteristics, and to satisfy the demand for high-quality agricultural talents in agricultural industry of Yunnan province.
