Research on the Mutual Promotion and Influence of Ancient Building Painting in Rural Revitalization: Take Wenwu Temple in Binchuan County as An Example

  • This article explored the role and function of ancient building painting in rural revitalization, and how to achieve the protection and inheritance of ancient building painting through the rural revitalization strategy. Taking the Wenwu Temple painting in Binchuan County as an example, it emphasized the importance of the concept of holistic protection, combining material and non-material cultural elements to promote a more comprehensive understanding of cultural heritage. The promotion of ancient building painting to rural revitalization was mainly reflected in economic development, cultural heritage and community participation. Using modern scientific and technological means to record and restore paintings, combining cultural tourism and economic development, promoting community participation and sustainable tourism models, strengthening local brand building and marketing, cross-border cooperation and regional network construction strategies, and injecting new impetus into rural revitalization. Integrating the research and protection of ancient building painting into rural revitalization practices will help to achieve socio-economic development and rural revitalization strategies.
