Evaluation and Empirical Analysis on the Development Index of the Characteristic Agricultural in Yunnan County Level: Take X County in Yunnan Province as An Example

  • On the basis of analyzing the concept and connotation of characteristic agriculture, this article combined the major deployment of Yunnan’ s development of the “Three Economies” , and formed an evaluation index system for the development of characteristic agriculture in Yunnan counties based on the principles of OSM index system construction. Using the collected cross-sectional data of X County’ s characteristic agriculture development in 2022, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation set was obtained through expert scoring, and AHP was used for weight measurement, the comprehensive development index of characteristic agriculture in X County is 74.879. Analyzing the scores of indicators at all levels in X County, the first level indicators “park economy” and “infrastructure construction” had the greatest contribution to the development of local characteristic agriculture; The scores of “resource economy” and “port economy” were both lower than the overall level. Among all indicators, the two indicators of “resource economy” , “characteristic agricultural product certification” and “brand influence” , and the two indicators of “port economy” , “port accessibility” and “economic extroversion” , were important factors that constrain the development of local characteristic agriculture. At the end of the article, four suggestions were proposed based on the current development status of characteristic agriculture in X County: First, it was necessary to fully tap into local agricultural resources and focus on highlighting the display of characteristic agriculture. The second was to enhance the level of building distinctive agricultural brands. The third was to focus on the headquarters economy and enhance the degree of economic extroversion. Fourthly, we needed to strengthen investment in technology and continuously enhance the strength of technology support for the development of characteristic agriculture.
