Rice Culture and Dai Traditional Ethics

  • The Dai is a minority with a long history of rice cultivation. It has formed a rice culture centered on rice cultivation, which is expressed in the form of myths, legends, folk tales, proverbs, and has formed related ethics and morality. Farming ethics, social ethics, ecological ethics, family ethics and belief ethics under the influence of rice culture are important components of Dai traditional ethics. In today’ s rapid economic and social development, it is of practical significance to fully explore the traditional excellent ethics and morals of the Dai people under the influence of rice farming culture, and explore the internal relationship between them and rural revitalization, in order to solve the social problems caused by the lack of ethics.
