Research Status, Hotspots and Trends of Digital Villages Based on CiteSpace

Digital village construction is an important part of promoting rural revitalization and building a digital China. This paper taked 257 PKU and CSSCI sources in the China Knowledge Network (CNKI) database with digital village as the research topic from 2018—2022 as the research sample. The software CiteSpace 6.1 R2 version which is a literature visualization analysis tool was used to perform a bibliometric visual analysis of the authors, institutisms, and keywords of the studies. The research results showed that: the synergy, systematisms, and depth of digital village research in China were still slightly weak. It was necessary to further strengthen the formation of interdisciplinary, interprofessional, and interdisciplinary research teams, so as to make innovations and breakthroughs on the basis of interdisciplinary and promote the in-depth development of research.
