The Characteristics and Solutions of Elderly Migrants Resettlement Community Integration Based on Social Support Theory: A Case Study of Y Community in Longquanyi District of Sichuan

The success or failure of community integration for the elderly in relocation for poverty alleviation and relocation is related to the effectiveness of the relocation policy for poverty alleviation. This article used qualitative research methods, observation and interview methods to collect relevant data, and analyzed the integration status of the relocated elderly in the process of community integration in the process of community integration.That is, joy The stage of exploration and novelty, the shock stage of rejection and conflict, the acceptance stage of tolerance and adaptation, and the assimilation stage of basic integration. Based on the positive correlation between social support theory and community integration, social work intervenes in the formal and informal support system for the relocation of poverty alleviation and relocation of the elderly to help them integrate into the new community as soon as possible from the government, community, society, and their families and peer groups.
