Analysis on the Difference among the Contents of 15 Flavonoids Compound in Barley Mature Grains

  • PurposeTo study the content characteristics of 15 flavonoids compound in barley mature grains.
MethodThe contents of 15 flavonoids compound in mature grains of eight barley materials were determined by HPLC, and the content differences among different mature grains were analyzed based on SPSS 20.0.
ResultsAmong the 15 compounds, nine compounds from Bowman, Guangtoudamai and Yunnangaoshidai mature grains, 12 compounds from Morex mature grains, 10 compounds from Ziqingke mature grains, 11 compounds from Chun'anliulengyanzhidamai and Dinghaihonglyuhuang mature grains, and seven compounds from Beiqing No.7 mature grains could be effectively detected. The contents of 15 compounds varied from 0.00 to (223.41±8.44) μg/g, among which, the contents of myricetin in Guangtoudamai mature grain, kaempferol in Ziqingke mature grain and naringenin in Dinghaihonglyuhuang mature grain reached (223.41±8.44), (114.24±2.40) and (102.63±22.24) μg/g, respectively, which were extremely significantly higher than those in other materials (P<0.01), and as many as 12 compounds differed between Morex and Ziqingke, Morex and Beiqing No.7.
ConclusionFifteen flavonoids compound were effectively synthesized from eight mature grains of barley, and there were obvious metabolic complementarity between Morex and Ziqingke, Morex and Beiqing No.7, and Guangtoudamai and Beiqing No.7.
