PurposeTo fully understand the fish resources of Yunlong Reservoir and the status of clean water fish groups, strengthen water environment management.
MethodWe set up 10 sampling points in the reservoir area, carried out four samplings at the same time to classify and identify the catches, carried out biology on the samples measurement and statistical analysis, and used FiSAT II-VPA to estimate the resource of Hypophthalmichthys molitrix.
ResultThere were 16 species of fish distributed in the Yunlong Reservoir area, belonging to 3 orders, 7 families and 16 genera. H. molitrix, Aristichthys nobilis, Carassius auratus, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Pseudorasbora parva, Hemiculter leucisculus, Rhodeus ocellatus, Oreochromis sp., Rhinogobius giurinus, Neosalanx taihuensis, Hypomesus olidus and Abbotina rivularis were common species; Cyprinus carpio, Misgurnus anguillicaudatus, Paramisgurnus dabryanus and Micropercops swinhonis were rare species. P. parva, H. leucisculus, R. giurinus and N. taihuensis were the dominant species; C. carpio, C. auratus, H. molitrix, A. nobilis, C. idella, A. rivularis, R. ocellatus, M. anguillicaudatus, P. dabryanus, Oreochromis sp., M. swinhonis and H. olidus were non-dominant species. H. molitrix weight-body length power function relationship: W=1.56222×10−5L3.02478 (n=193, R2=0.92132). The resource amount was estimated to be 5.99 × 105 tails.
ConclusionsThe distribution of fish resources is basically the same as that of hydrostatic environmental conditions in Yunlong Reservoir. Increase the intensity of fishing for small fish and the proper placement of water-purification fish in water environmental management.
