A Study of the Cultural Mission of Ideological and Political Education in the New Era

摘要: 思想政治教育是维系社会存在、促进社会发展、满足人的社会化需求的一种文化实践活动。面对时代变革给我国文化建设带来的新机遇、新挑战，思想政治教育对自身文化使命应给予更广泛的关注，在启发文化自觉、坚定文化自信、助力文化自强、推进文化育人等方面持续发力，努力为培养时代新人、建设文化强国奠定坚实思想基础。Abstract: Ideological and political education is a kind of cultural practice that maintains social existence, promotes social development, and satisfies people’ s socialization needs. Faced with new challenges and opportunities brought by the change of times to cultural development, ideological and political education should cover extensively and profoundly the country’ s cultural missions. The focus is to enlighten cultural consciousness, strengthen cultural confidence, realize cultural self-improvement, and enhance education through culture. Ideological and political education serves as the theory basis of fostering young people for the new era and building China into a country that is strong in culture.
