Exploration on Strengthening Vocational Education and Training of High-quality Farmers from the Perspective of Rural Revitalization

Rural revitalization, education first. Rural revitalization ultimately depends on talents, and the cultivation of rural talents requires not only basic education, higher education, and continuing education, but also “down-to-earth” vocational education and training. Strengthening the vocational education and training of high-quality farmers is the key to promoting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and promoting the all-round development of farmers. At present, high-quality farmers’ vocational education training still has social prejudices that are “deep-rooted” , education methods are “traditional and rigid” , teaching content is “obviously away from farming” , and the integration of production and education is “a little taste” , which restricts high-quality farmers’ vocational education and training progress, strength, accuracy and validity. Based on this, the vocational education training for high-quality farmers needs to further work on upgrading and improving quality, innovation leadership, precise efforts, and government-administration-enterprise-schools, in order to better serve the implementation of high-quality farmers’ training plans and comprehensively promote rural revitalization.
