Abstract: The development of agricultural service trade is a new driving force to realize China’s transformation from a big agricultural trade country to a strong agricultural trade country. This paper analyzed the new opportunities and realistic bottlenecks of the current development of China’s agricultural service trade in order to propose corresponding countermeasures to promote the high-quality development of Chinese agricultural service trade and help rural revitalization. This study based on the calculation method and trade competitiveness index, analyzed the status and international competitiveness of China’s agricultural service trade, combined with the development experience of foreign countries, and put forward current development countermeasures for China’s agricultural service trade. The results showed that, the current development of China’s agricultural service trade had been in a trade deficit for a long time, service projects were concentrated in labor-intensive traditional service industries, commercial presence and natural person flow services developed slowly, and the competitiveness of different service industries varied greatly. It is necessary to promote the high-speed and high-quality development of China's agricultural service trade by constructing a three-dimensional agricultural service trade guarantee system of “accounting-service-early warning” , strengthening scientific and technological innovation to transform traditional agricultural services, and guiding the demonstration of agricultural service trade enterprises and linkage policy suggestions.
